I was taught to draw by one of the finest teachers, David Burkett. He taught me all throughout high school at Maumee Valley Country Day School in Toledo Ohio from 1981 - 1986.
He taught me to see what I was drawing, instead of what I thought I was drawing.
Having such a solid base of drawing has allowed me to successfully and confidently venture off into more abstract expressions. THanks David!
