Providing people with new opportunities to express themselves through creative process®
Our Vision:The GTI Art Workshop Rehabilitation Method offers a wholistic approach toward traditional rehabilitation practices.
The GTI Method is Taught Through the GTI Facilitator Training Seminar (a train-the-trainer format) that teaches professionals how to lead the GTI Workshop. Both GTI services complete the circle of wholistic rehabilitation towards recovery and personal growth.
Working Along-side Traditional TBI Recovery Methods, GTI Facilitator Training Seminars offer the rehabilitation market a never-seen-before wholistic method that addresses the emotional components of their clients. Our method nurture Workshop members to know themselves better in context of others so that all may re-integrate themselves back into society to participate as contributing community members.
GTI Art Workshop Members Learn to Heal Themselves Emotionally so each may live into their fullest potential. Utilizing self-initiated and wholistic methods, the creative process invites participants to re-define their life situation through a 10-step process that is supported by empowering concepts. The Workshop Process and completed Art Piece with Accompanying Book become positive self-advocacy recovery tools. (Art Workshop Methodology)
The Art Workshop is Dedicated to Improving the Quality of Life for Participants. Individuals come together in a safe environment to create a collaborative artistic expression reflecting both personal and shared experiences. Participants have the opportunity to improve self-esteem and confidence as they engage in a dynamic arts activity. Verbal, visual, kinesthetic, musical, mathematical, linguistic, interpersonal, and intrapersonal abilities are supported. Completed Art Pieces are exhibited in the community as a means of honoring the artists and educating the public. A public performance of the Art Piece with GTI Graduates reading their personal accounts further celebrate the groups’ strengths and diversity.
